About Colorado Thunder

Our overall goal is to help improve the level of volleyball in the Grand Valley and help young athletes achieve their goals. Whether their goal is to make their high school team or play collegiate volleyball. With local, regional and National competition, and bi-weekly practices, our athletes learn skills necessary to compete not only in volleyball, but in life. For the past two years, we have competed in several National tournaments, including traveling to Denver CO, Anaheim CA, Dallas TX, Atlanta GA, Las Vegas NV and Reno NV.  Although we did not always come home with the win, our athletes competed against high caliber club programs from across the Nation, experienced new cities and states and grew as an individual athlete and team player.

Our coaching staff is well versed in volleyball terminology, techniques and drills as well as finding ways to communicate our knowledge of the game to each individual athlete in our program. Our staff consists of Mesa State athletes and coaches who have all had experience playing at a high level and coaching summer camps and club volleyball. We are excited for the growth of our club in the upcoming season and continuing to strive for competitive greatness on and off the court.
