Biography

Coach Ashley Wade graduated in 2003 from Hargrave High School in Huffman, TX where she played on Varsity all four years. While at Hargrave, she played for Texas Thunder in 2002 and 2003. Coach Wade received a full scholarship to play at the University of Illinois at Springfield where she played all four years. After earning her Bachelors degree in Communication in May 2007, Coach Wade continued her education and received a Master's degree in Communication in December 2008.

Coach Wade coached numerous age groups for Ambush Volleyball Club in Springfield, IL for two years. After that, she became the assistant Varsity coach for Lutheran High School in Springfield, IL.

Coach Wade now works as a sales rep for SimplexGrinnell Fire Protection. The Club was proud to welcome Coach Ashley Wade to Thunder Volleyball in January 2009.
